The second journey in details

The aim of the second journey was to provide for vitamins, medicines, antibiotics and emulsions to cure scabies. Another thing was to control the use of financial means provided during the first journey, purchasing several cell phones to enhance a better communication among our fellow workers, which was particularly important when some areas were flooded and the situation had to be monitored in different corners of the country.

A digital blood pressure gauge and a device measuring glucose and cholesterol were purchased in order to treat the poor and the ill more effectively.

We also provided money for people facing the difficulties after devastating floods – to buy food and drinkable water and to support employment by creating job vacancies (e.g. contributions to rickshaws).

Several poor families were given financial means to solve their serious situations immediately.

On this occasion we invited one Bengal girl over to the Czech republic – a high school student from BASC school - her name was Glory Kakoly Adhikary.
