Charity concert

"Hope for Bangladesh"

On Saturday November 29, 2008 at 19.00, a charity concert "Hope for Bangladesh” will be held in the theatre of Jaroměř under the auspices of the mayor Ing. Jiří Klepsa http://www.jaromer-josefov.cz/clanky.php.

A local group of singers from East Bohemia, along with a solo singer Miroslav König, are appearing in concert at the theatre and Mr. Pavel Voltr is going to give a speech on his hands-on experience he gained while staying and providing help in south-east Asia.

Karel Sladky, a well-known and favourite radio presenter, will be hosting the concert (http://www.rozhlas.cz/hradec/osoby/_zprava/121303).

All the proceeds will go to charity; the money collected at the concert will be handed to the director of the humanitarian organization Help for Life and the whole amount will be used for specific projects that will be presented on the spot.

Advance booking will be available in Quelle shop Jaroměř, Venezia and the town information centre. Tickets for the concert are 100 CZK each. You are all invited to this pre-advent concert. In case you cannot make it to the concert and you do want to help somehow, you will have an opportunity to buy an "alternative” ticket worth 50, 100 or 500 CZK. By buying this ticket, you will provide money to buy bananas, warm blankets, medicine and vitamins for poor children and old people who are scratching their living in country slums and suburban areas. All the money contributions can also be transferred to our bank account ČSOB: 214089370/0300. We are very grateful to everyone who understands this difficult situation these poor and suffering people have to face and wants to help.

The same concert will also be held on Saturday Dec 6 at 19.00 under the auspices of Ing. Pavel Louda, the mayor of Nový Bydžov. We would like to invite you to this Christmas concert. All the proceeds will again go to charity and will cover the projects in Bangladesh. All the completed projects will then be presented to public.
